Arts for All Nevada

Arts for All Nevada’s mission is to provide quality arts opportunities for all focusing on children and adults who have a disability, are disadvantaged, at-risk, or under-served by the arts.

Arts for All Nevada: Field Trip (K – 8)

Description:

  • General Education Classes:
    • Workshops held at Lake Mansion
      • Typically last 1 hour
      • Accommodate up to 30 students or 1 class
      • The workshop includes the teaching artist for one hour and basic art supplies
      • Includes a tour of  the main floor of the historic Lake Mansion (this tour is especially relevant to classes that are studying Nevada history)
      • Busing arranged by the classroom teacher
  • Special Education Classes  (SpEd: CLS/Strategies/SIP Programs):
    • Workshops held at Lake Mansion
      • Funding provided by foundations and charitable organizations
      • Workshops include the teaching artist for 1 hour and basic art supplies
      • Includes a tour of  the main floor of the historic Lake Mansion (this tour is especially relevant to classes that are studying Nevada history)
      • Busing arranged by the classroom teacher

Cost:

  • Cost for general education classes: $50/class per workshop
  • Cost for special education classes: Free

      • Typically last 1 hour
      • Accommodate up to 30 students or 1 class
      • The workshop includes the teaching artist for one hour and basic art supplies
  • Special Education Classes  (SpEd: CLS/Strategies/SIP Programs):

      • 5 (1 hour each) workshops included
      • Workshops include the teaching artist for 1 hour and basic art supplies
