Animal Ark
Animal Ark, a wildlife sanctuary, inspires environmental stewardship through wildlife education. To this end, we offer a wide range of exciting, education, fun, and age-appropriate resources and programs to the local schools and community groups.
Animal Ark: Field Trip (K – 8)
Description:
- Field trip to Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary, 265 Deerlodge Rd., Reno, NV 89508
- Education focus can meet required science standard
Cost:
- $6.50/student
- Title I Chaperone: $6.50; Non-Title I Chaperone: $8
- WCSD bus not included; Title I schools encouraged to contact Animal Ark for possible scholarship for bus transportation

Animal Ark Live Raptor Program: Assembly (K – 8)
Description:
- Animal handlers come to the school with 2-3 birds for an assembly with up to 200 attendees per presentation
- All programs run approximately 45 minutes
- Can accommodate up to 200 students per presentation
