Nevada Department of Wildlife: Class Workshop (1 – 6)
Description:
- Includes a 40 minute interactive presentation/activity on NV wildlife and natural resource management aligned to NGSS standards
- Wide variety of program topics including but not limited to ecosystems, life cycles, adaptations, and habitats. Programs also include: Wildlife’s Winter Survival Strategies, Nevada Knockout (Fall only), Know Your Nevada- State Symbols Program, Backyard Wildlife, Satellite Collars in Wildlife Management

Nevada Department of Wildlife: Field Trip (1 – 6)
Description:
- Visits to Oxbow Nature Study Area, 3100 Dickerson Rd., Reno, NV with 1.5 – 2 hours of programming with multiple activities
- Students will split into groups and rotate through a variety of hands on science stations including a trail walk through Oxbow
