Warriors Youth Education Program: Class Workshop (K – 12)

Description:

  • Introduces students to environmental problems common to all urban communities and provides them with the knowledge they need to take simple steps toward positive change
  • The curriculum is designed to inspire students to become stewards –or ‘warriors’– of the air, land and water in the Truckee Meadows

Sensory Garden Program: Field Trip (K – 3)

Description:

  • Designed for grades K-3, and will inspire students to discover their excitement for nature through hands-on activities while exploring their five senses in a garden setting
  • Can accommodate upper grades if requested, visit https://ktmbpresentationyouth.as.me/schedule.php to book a field trip
  • Visits typically last 2-3 hours, available September-October and April-May

Teacher Training: Specialized Education (Teachers)

  • “How your students can become future environmental stewards of their community”
