          • Geospatial
            • Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) • MS-ESS3
            • The Geospatial curriculum discusses natural resources, where they come from, and how they are used in our everyday lives. Students examine the ideas of supply and demand, consumption, and the effect humans have on the earth.
          • Hydroponics
            • Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) – MS-LS1 • MS-ESS2 • MS-LS1 • MS-LS2
            • The Hydroponics curriculum examinations of the role water plays in the development and growth of plants. Students practice using claim evidence reasoning to explain plant health and water properties.
          • Natural Gas
            • This unit introduces students to natural gas as a nonrenewable energy source, highlighting the advantages and limitations of its use. Students design experiments to showcase the basic properties of natural gas while examining the viability of utilizing it as a fuel source.
          • Oceanography

            • By creating models and using claim based evidence, the Oceanography unit helps students examine how much of the Earth’s surface is covered in water and how energy cycles through the ocean ecosystem.
          • Plate Tectonics

            • The Plate Tectonics curriculum is focused on the inner workings of the Earth and how it affects the lives on the surface of the Earth. Students not only participate in scientific experiments about how plate tectonics work, but also delve into topics and concerns associated with plate tectonics, such as nuclear power.
          • Solar PV

            • The Solar PV curriculum is an in-depth look at the energy produced by the sun. Students perform various experiments to harness and measure the sun’s energy and discover which methods are most efficient.
